Michael Mulvey is an art director with over 9 years experience. He is well-seasoned in taking projects from conception through production to launch. His extensive skills allow him to both manage projects successfully, but also provide hands-on support whenever needed - from building designs in Photoshop, to execution in Flash, XHTML & CSS. He is recognized as a model employee who is extremely fast at project execution and problem solving and is highly adept at learning new technologies. Michael has worked with various industry groups including: retail, fashion, pharmaceutical, fine art and photography.

Art Director
DEEP FOCUS, Brooklyn, NY, JUL 2006 - MAR 2007
I work closely with the senior creative director on pitches, brainstorming and presenting our ideas to clients. Daily responsibilities also include interviewing candidates, mentoring of junior staff and executing actual projects myself. I also work with the project managers, determining resource allocation for projects and setting timelines.

Interactive Consultant
CRISPIN PORTER + BOGUSKY, Miami, APR 2006 - MAY 2006
I came into CPB as a consultant on vwfeatures.com as well as the Jetta site that was launched in '06. As they began to bring all their interactive work in-house, I had to make sure that all functionality was intact on the new CPB hosting environment. I worked with both creative and technical sides of their team to ensure proper execution and  launch of their websites.

Group Lead - Digital Design
BLUEPRINT, NYC, APR 2003 - APR 2006
Work involved conceptualizing, designing and developing all interactive and online projects. This involved participating in brainstorming sessions with creative team, backend roll-out with developers and managing junior designers. When I wasn't designing and developing projects, I was talking directly with clients - with Rockport Shoes being my main account.

Multimedia Designer
DAN MILLER DESIGN, NYC, DEC 1999 - JAN 2002
Work at Dan Miller was a mixture of print and web projects. Print work consisted of designing identity systems, magazine ads and high-res photo retouching. Web work consisted of site design, HTML/Flash production and cross-browser & cross platform troubleshooting (Ahh, the good ol' days of Netscape 4.7).
