Concept and Design
Advertising, brochure and collateral, annual report, book, editorial (consumer and institutional), presentation, Web and interactive. In my extensive branding experience, I have also worked on event, signage, packaging and interior design projects.
Art Direction
Photographic art direction on every scale — from location lifestyle, cruise, automotive, aerial and architectural to studio food, lifestyle and product. Additionally, I have similar depth directing stylists, illustrators, audio, video, interactive and Web specialists.
Branding
After extensive involvement in the branding process with SHR Perceptual Management for clients such as Coca Cola, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Ford, Boeing and many others, I have a wealth of branding training and experience: understanding audience needs, establishing key brand dimensions and the essential visual parameters that support them, developing marketing and messaging strategy, assessing current and competitive marketing materials, creative testing, developing visual brand iconography and leveraging at every point of contact with my client's audience and consumer.
Copywriting
I am primarily a communicator. I realize how critical good copy is and design to support the written word and facilitate readership — no design for design's sake here. However, as a designer I offer a unique dimension by copywriting a majority of my advertising and collateral projects. I have served exclusively as a copywriter and have extensive experience in name and tagline development as well as copywriter direction and content/information hierarchy development as well.
