General Responsibilities at last position:
Provide a key role in the creation of Bonus Saver magazines through design, art direction, production-related project management, print coordination, from concept through production. Perform creative work requiring advanced knowledge of graphic design software.
Demonstrate creative skills, technical knowledge, and decision-making skills to ensure originated products have creative design and layout, are technically prepared for prepress.
Perform technical work while exercising discretion and independent judgment and working independently to design and produce the books
Key Responsibilities:
Primary duties include work achieved through advanced knowledge of and experience with complex graphic design, page layout, file formatting software.

4. Installation and Maintenance of Hardware/Software.
6. Perform monthly Check of Partitions, Directories, Files and Media.

Specific Operating Responsibilities:
1. Production Management
Create and update production publication schedules, rate sheets, advertising agreements, photo release forms,
printer direction tags, area maps, orders, promos, proof approval.
Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing situations, creating solutions, and prioritizing actions.
Perform basic proofreading and copyediting work.
2. Design and Composition:
Manage the design process for magazine covers and interiors.
Perform design, lay out, and composition from input, including covers and interiors.
Develop templates and design guidelines for Bonus Saver magazines.
Coordinate/traffic all design and production stages.
3. Prepress and Printing:
Prepare Postscript, .eps files and PDFs to specifications.
Set up and output Quark files. Troubleshoot to resolve file problems and postscript errors.
Maintain library of paper and production samples.
Maintain font collection.
4. Technological Expertise:
Handle Windows-to-Mac conversion issues with clients.
Assess opportunities to improve workflow, product development and printing procedures.
Archive projects electronically and maintain project file.
Upgrade hardware and software of all Mac workstations.
