Aside from an outgoing personality and love for open floor plans, the ideal candidate for Cambria's open copywriting position has the capability to see opportunity in every assignment and a passion for cleverly written copy. As a part of our in-house Creative Team, you will help drive marketing and creative efforts for multiple brands and partner with a variety of Designers and Marketing team members in order to create and execute strategic plans, and marketing campaigns in both print and digital realms. If you take pride in bringing order to chaos, finding the simple creative hook for the complicated message, and have a ‘get it done’ attitude, then you need to join our in-house Creative Team. What you will be doing: • Write simple, clever headlines and body copy that connects to consumers' emotions • Partner with Designers to produce innovative and imaginative marketing campaigns and bring ideas to life • Participate in strategic planning and develop sound working relationships • Write within brand guidelines, messaging, and positioning for multiple brands • Self-assess and develop ongoing organizational learning • Seize opportunities to drive brands forward with new ideas • Follow workflows, processes, and brand guidelines, and suggest improvements when necessary What you need to bring to the table: • 3-5 years of experience as a copywriter with a diverse portfolio, ideally in marketing and communications, or other related field • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of complex projects and multiple assignments • A little bit Marketing and a little big Creative who is excited to push for new directions based on sound reasoning • Solid attention to detail • Play well with others as a collaborative team player • Proven ability to create copy for a variety of audiences, brands, and industries within brand copy standards • Strong organizational skills • Strong ability to work with minimal direction to not only meet deadlines, but also deliver what is asked, if not more • Experience with Microsoft programs: Outlook, Word, and Excel • Exceptional communicator • Outgoing, well-spoken demeanor.
