Senior Marketing Technology Specialist

Practising Law Institute (“PLI”) is seeking a Senior Marketing Technology Specialist for its talented, Manhattan-based Marketing team.   

The Senior Marketing Technology Specialist will act as the primary business analyst to facilitate and manage the use of technology that aligns marketing and sales with PLI’s customers. The goal is to enhance customer experience with PLI which will help to increase utilization and revenue.

The ideal candidate for this role must have both technical and business experience and the ability to create a collaborative environment that fosters adaption of new skills, learning and innovation in sales and marketing. The candidate is ready to support the ongoing business needs within the marketing department while defining the strategy for the sales and marketing technology stack.


•	Provide operational information, results, and reporting as needed to help in analysis of customer behavior along with identifying new channels, opportunities, or strategies.
•	Interface with  Sales, Marketing, and IT teams to:
o	Help define technical and system requirements, delivery roadmaps, and go-forward support processes.
o	Analyze and design business processes aligning with best practices. 
o	Research and recommend systems and tools that improve operations, enhance business results and work with IT to test and or implement. 
o	Continuously support and enhance the existing system and solutions.
•	Analysis and reporting of marketing operations, including proactive activities to improve quality of processes, tools and systems.  
•	Document, organize, and manage projects end-to-end and drive successful delivery.
•	Mentor teams in understanding and adopting current and new technology, enabling increased productivity and improved skill sets.
•	Participate in the development of the strategic roadmap of marketing technology and investigate the marketing technology capabilities needed to generate results.
•	Other duties, as assigned.


•	Bachelor’s degree with focus on marketing, computer science, business technology, or a related field.
•	5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
•	Knowledge of the technology ecosystem for sales/marketing operations  
•	Experience in leading business and technology decisions, including requirements gathering, solutions design, workflow analysis, development, testing, and documentation.
•	Passionate and customer-centric individual who thrives at the intersection of sales/marketing and technology.
•	Knowledge of marketing campaign software and email marketing platforms
•	Analytic skills to determine next steps.
