Public Relations Senior Account Executive
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) works closely with Account Managers and department leadership, and may serve as the day-to-day contact for specific clients. Primary responsibilities of the SAE position including understanding and following integrated marketing communications programs for clients; implementing specific PR strategies and tactics within these programs; developing successful media relationships on behalf of clients and the agency; developing press materials; and reporting on the success of communications campaigns. 

SAE candidates should possess strong media and blogger relationships and be able to formulate a strategic pitch that yields results for clients. A successful SAE will require minimal guidance on day-to-day activities and will be responsible for timely completion of client deliverables such as media lists, press releases, social media content calendars and story roadmaps. The SAE comprehends reporting and is continually looking for ways to optimize results for his/her clients. While this position has no direct reports, the SAE regularly reviews and edits work from colleagues, including account coordinators and interns.

•	Assist account manager in developing and implementing the strategic communications initiatives
•	Tactical execution of client programs while staying within target hours 
•	Possess strong writing and editing skills with the ability to write numerous materials in the individual client’s voice and tone
•	Effective communication skills as it relates to client correspondence, reporting, points-of-view strategy documents, agency and client blog posts and other integrated marketing materials
•	Oversee maintenance of calendar of all news releases, blog posts, speaking engagements and award opportunities
•	Establish and develop relationships with key media; contact designated media regarding all news, editorial opportunities and proactive pitches
•	Identify and place the clients in targeted high-level media and blog opportunities
•	Ability delegating work appropriately to account coordinator and intern staff members
•	Establish successful, productive relationships with client contacts
•	In-depth understanding of social media tools and ability to implement social media programs
•	Ability to manage 3-4 accounts simultaneously
•	Demonstrated understanding of a client’s business objectives and the role the SAE plays in reaching and/or exceeding these objectives

Experience and Education Required: 
•	Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations/Integrated Marketing 
•	Minimum of 5 years of public relations and social media experience
•	Prior integrated marketing agency experience a plus
