Digital Content Designer
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
As a Digital Content Designer for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, you'll create captivating graphics, animations, videos and content for the resort's award-winning digital portals. An eagerness to explore all avenues of traditional and non-traditional brand storytelling is necessary, along with a mastery of a variety of software and processes. A can-do attitude, strong ability to deliver quality work and diligent work ethic are imperative for the ideal candidate.


Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Collaborate with marketing team to shape and grow The Cosmopolitan's digital content strategy and on-property digital experiences
Ability to concept and generate ideas, storyboard, produce and deliver in a timely manner on objectives with flawless execution
Design and collaborate on interactive media elements and experiences
Design, render and encode static and animated digital content
Collaborate with marketing team to meet content deployment deadlines and ensure that the highest quality display quality is being achieved on all digital portals with the goal of ensuring the best possible guest experience and alignment to brand positioning
Maintain content and digital asset archive


Bachelor's degree in motion graphics, media arts, graphic design or related field from an accredited institution of higher education, or equivalent experience
An up-to-date creative portfolio of past work
At least three years of experience working with AfterEffects
At least 21 years of age
Ability to develop and articulate creative concepts as well as efficiently produce high quality motion graphics and content, formatted and encoded for a variety of outputs
Exceptional motion graphics and compositing proficiency, traditional and digital animation techniques
Expert understanding of video codecs, formats, frame rates and technical specifications as well as file transfer procedures and DVD mastering
Commitment to diversity and demonstrated passion for finding emerging trends, etc.
Communication ability - Ability to effectively present ideas, both verbally and visually. Able to sell ideas to managers and work with them to achieve the end product they want.
Originality - The ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to create digital programming.
Strong conceptual, writing and proofreading skills with creative sensibility.
Technical skills - Expert knowledge in the use of digital design specifications and files. Attention to detail, using correct files, etc.

Minimum 5+ years' work experience as a motion graphics artist in an agency, broadcast facility or other creative services position, along with expert-level proficiency in Adobe Create Suite including AfterEffects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop and 3D.
