Content and Social Media Manager

Standard Furniture Manufacturing Company is a rapidly growing furniture manufacturer that has been designing and distributing high quality wholesale furniture since 1946. Headquartered in Bay Minette, AL, we offer a rewarding work environment with an employee-focused atmosphere. We are currently searching for a Content and Social Media Manager to join our growing E-Commerce Team.

Our ideal candidate is a highly creative, collaborative individual who is driven by accuracy and timeliness. You will be detail oriented and work well within deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to express the company’s views in a creative, collaborative, and engaging manner with online users. 

The essential duties and responsibilities of Content and Social Media Manager will:

•Collaborate with product and marketing teams to collect and maintain complete, concise product copy in a timely manner.
•Work with imagery team to ensure correct formatting, sizing, and naming conventions on product, collection, and assembly instruction digital assets.
•Manage all aspects of content storage and curation through Salsify’s product information management suite.
•Develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to optimizing and improving product content and social media standards (content completion %, traffic, engagement, SEO rankings, conversions).
•Create and implement social media marketing and promotion plans with focus on increasing customer engagement and retention.
•Leverage SEO knowledge to create engaging product copy and blog content, ultimately driving website traffic and conversions.
•Oversee and expand social media platforms to target new customers and markets based on developing customer trends and expectations.
•Creates and share engaging social content via blogs, images, video, and more daily.
•Responsible for the design, layout, and execution of all social media platforms with focus on a united brand presence and message.
•Implement and execute all social media campaigns including paid search, blog development, virtual catalogs, and post engagement.
•Work alongside our customer service team to monitor and interactive with social users to increase social engagement and customer satisfaction.


Required Education & Experience:  

•BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field
•3-5 years Social Media Management experience
•3 years’ experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
•Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Google Analytics (Intermediate Level)
•Understanding of web publishing requirements and social media design
•Project Management Experience
