Marketing Communications Manager
Tipton Communications
The Marketing Communications Manager will play a key role in the development and implementation of external communications strategies and marketing plans for Tipton’s clients. This position will also develop and implement a world-class marketing communications plan to promote and enhance Tipton’s brand reputation. Strong writing, client relations and organization skills are absolutely necessary. Innovative thinking is critical. The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing, strengthening and growing Tipton Communications’ marketing communications efforts. This is a newly defined position for Tipton Communications and reports directly to the president of Tipton Communications. 

Overview of Position Responsibilities and Requirements:
•	Provide strategic counsel and vision for client brands to help achieve client business objectives and enhance client brands.
•	Understand client marketing communications goals and help them to achieve their goals through effective integrated marketing communications strategies and tactics.
•	Develop innovative marketing communications strategies and tactics to support client external communications goals.
•	Manage the creation and development of electronic and print materials for clients, including websites, emails, trade show materials, advertisements, direct mail, brochures and sales kits
•	Develop, manage, implement and maintain social media strategies, campaigns and tactics
•	Continuously offer unsolicited ideas to increase the effectiveness of the client’s company and marketing activities
•	Ensure a consistently superior public relations product is executed on a timely basis. 
•	Represent Tipton Communications with clients and demonstrate an absolute commitment to providing the very best products backed by top quality service 
•	Manage freelancers and subcontractors and work with the Tipton creative team to provide content as required for various channels.
•	Stay abreast of all developments in the client’s industry
•	Hone communication/marketing expertise and techniques 
•	Travel as necessary.

Previous Experience
•	Proven experience and track record managing significant marketing communications projects
•	B.S. Degree in related field or equivalent
•	5+ years in marketing communications or related field with specific experience in B2B and B2C marketing, experience in the healthcare, manufacturing or finance sectors is a plus
•	Proven experience conducting business and partnering with executives and staff 
•	Proven experience managing external vendors
•	Proven talent in writing effective marketing copy and developing campaign ideas
•	Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point
•	Social Media savvy
