I have been a designer for web and print since 1999. After first arriving in San Francisco and starting at Sandbox Studios as a digital photo retoucher, I soon discovered a whole new career path - web design. So I taught myself how to do it, and I got my first job as a designer with a great little boutique agency called Graphic Language, followed by positions at companies such as Communication Arts, Teracent, and Google. I am currently a freelance designer, open to opportunities of all kinds, from contract assignments to full-time employment. I have worked for small start-ups and agencies, large corporations, and as a freelance designer. I am happy in all environments, but the sweet spot for me is working in a smaller company with 15-100 employees. Although my focus is on web, UI and UX design, I am a generalist and always learning, so I enjoy being a valuable asset to a great creative team and offering my many skills to help solve any challenge being presented. I have years of experience in technologies related to both print and web. I am proficient in Photoshop, well versed in Illustrator and InDesign, and have comprehensive working knowledge in HTML, CSS, and Flash timeline animation. I write neat, organized code, and I am neat and organized in general.
I specialize in web design: interface design, user experience, Flash animation, and CSS. I also offer services in print design, illustration, photo retouching, and photography.
