Designer & Illustrator
Own and operate a graphic design company that helps companies increase market share and grow profits by providing them with complete graphic services including advertising and publishing to diverse customer populations on the national and regional level.
Selected Clients:
Miller/Coors
Fulfilled company’s graphic design needs by utilizing a combination of creative design, communication, and administrative skills. Worked independently when needed and collaborated with lead designer to plan effective design strategies that took into consideration the client’s expectations and industry trends, as well as budgetary and time constraints.
Key Accomplishments:
* Completed a well-received fall promotional campaign.
* Designed and conceptualized a Statue of Liberty character for a regional New York City packaging campaign.
Cintas
Successfully conceptualized and designed the character of “Flex Moore,” a mascot for use in promotions for a new line of flexible work apparel.
Key Accomplishments:
* Concept art resulted in the physical manufacture of character figurines.
* Illustrated a full comic for use in figurine packaging.
5/3 Bank
Supported the creation of broadcast commercial campaigns by conceptualizing and visualizing television commercials via storyboards. Supported commercial director by presenting options for camera angles to best tell the commercial story.
Lifeway Christian Resources
Supported publication illustration needs by designing both contemporary and historically accurate biblical art for all age groups as well as the majority of the company’s Sunday school curriculum products. Created art and graphics for a variety of storytelling forms, from children’s games to highly-detailed illustrations that were epic in scope and creativity.
Key Accomplishment:
* Successfully created 300 illustrations in a single year.
McDonalds
Managed the creation of a regional Halloween advertising campaign, including the formation of creative concepts, promotional materials, and posters.
Key Accomplishment:
* Promotion campaign successfully raised awareness for the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not
Designed and illustrated a Halloween Seasonal promotion poster for Ripley’s Haunted Adventure.
Key Accomplishment:
* Promotional campaign helped to raise attendance by 15% over the previous year.
Monroe Shocks
Designed and illustrated a Frankenstein-type character for use in “Shocktober” themed print advertisements.
Weider Publications
Designed and illustrated well-received congratulatory in-house “cards” to send to then California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Captain Morgan/Curlys
Increased company brand recognition by conceptualizing, designing, and illustrating “Curly,” a character who goes head-to-head with the Captain Morgan Pirate.

Nossi College of Art 2004 - 2010
Department Chair and Senior Instructor
Supported the educational goals of numerous students by creating, developing, and implementing the school’s BFA Illustration degree program. Researched the offerings of similar programs as well as student needs to determine department structure, offerings, and measures for success.

* Managed, trained, and developed an advisory committee made up of area professionals.
Terror on the Square Haunted Attraction 2000 - 2002
Producer, Designer
Managed, designed, and implemented all creative and organizational functions of a highly regarded haunted attraction, including conceptualization, set design, theatrical lighting design, actor makeup, traffic pattern design, and securing sponsor funding. Built interest in the attraction by managing all advertising in print, radio, and television mediums.
Key Accomplishments:
* Successfully led a staff of 30 individuals across multiple functions.
* Selected to speak at Transworld’s “Halloween and Attractions” national convention based on successes and expertise.
* The haunted attraction was one of the first of its kind to incorporate a live webcam feed during operational hours.
