– Senior Graphic Designer and extremely efficient project and time manager, while managing contact with all inside and outside partners, vendors, clients and contractors.

– From inception, shepherd each project through the creative life cycle to completion.

– Conceptualize and create a range of design pieces that include:  logos and branding elements, presentations, brochures, booklets, annual reports, die-cut packages, information graphics, letters and mail packages, tradeshow booths, print and electronic advertisements, newsletters, sale sheets, email and web graphics.  

– Point person leading a recent rigorous, corporate global re-branding initiative, which entailed strategy, design and implementation of all new marketing collateral. Implementation included designing and producing the templates, along with establishing guidelines to enforce new brand standards throughout the company for both print and digital assets. Enhancement and refinement work continues with new campaigns as needed.

– Plan, organize and meet daily deadlines for a wide variety of graphic projects, from small ads to large tradeshow booths. Efficient in layout and executions by working quickly, within tight deadlines and budgets while adhering to brand guidelines.

– Flexible and able to work either collaboratively or autonomously.

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adeptly partnering with all levels of management to quickly assess project scope, confirm requests and client need to gain product and service insight before converting complex concepts into polished, professional graphics that visually articulate the intended message.

– Expert technique in retouching files and Photoshop in general, ensuring each image conveys the proper tone and message for the intended audience.

– Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and QuarkXPress on both Mac and PC platforms.

Earle Palmer Brown; Philadelphia, PA     7/1997 – 7/1998

– Collaborated with a team of writers and creative directors to skillfully develop, design, pitch, and ultimately win advertising bids for large, high-visibility clients, such as Comcast, SEPTA, Helzberg Diamonds, Giorgio Foods and Christiana Care Health System.

– Executed the design and art direction for dynamic television spots, promotional pieces, ads, billboards, bus wraps, direct mail, and package design for consumer and trade use.

P.B. Media, Inc.; Norristown, PA     5/1997 – 7/1997 

– Successfully designed and produced The Fan Magazine cover-to-cover from concept to print. It was the first issue to ever arrive at the printer before the due date.

– Developed all client ads as well as house ads for publication saving time and cost by keeping every aspect of the magazine in-house. Coordinated all communication and negotiated for the most cost-effective solutions with printers, illustrators and other outside vendors to create a professional and successful magazine.

Advertising Specialty Institute; Langhorne, PA     9/1994 – 5/1997 

– Collaborated with art directors, account reps and photographers to design and produce promotional materials catalogs such as Media File, Spectrum and Idea Showcase. 

– Invaluable, hands-on experience working directly with in-house pre-press department that produced and generated the four color films that were then sent to the printer for production.
