I am an award winning designer/art director originally working out of Montreal, Canada but now working in North Carolina. I am currently the Director of Creative Services at Elon university.

My background is in corporate and institutional communications, identity design and implementation, publication design, marketing and higher education branding and design management. With extensive experience in design, personnel and client management, production coordination and prepress, I can manage many projects at once, stay within budget, deliver on time and maintain quality and creativity.

In charge of all editorial layout and ad design for this 100-page monthly fashion/lifestyle magazine. I art direct photo shoots, do all post photography retouching and color correction, execute production and prepare all pre press files. I also produce any marketing, sales and online and print advertising material to promote the magazine.

As Art Director, I worked on and oversaw high profile design projects for the broader university community and its affiliated institutions – academic and institutional publications, recruitment material, fundraising, the award-winning alumni magazine, brochures and posters. Coordinating with web design team, we also developed electronic graphics and other online material and maintained and developed a photo bank. Our department was responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining brand and identity standards as part of the overall spectrum of communications disseminated by the university.

I was also responsible for directing and managing seven senior designers, schedule their projects, conduct performance evaluations, interviews, handling client relations, managing our section budget in order to reach or exceed cost recovery targets, maintain workflow and general administration.
