My experience encompasses strong conceptual development and eye-catching visuals for print and online materials. Services include: Art direction and Creative Copywriting and Copy Editing, Macintosh Art Production, Design and Layout, and Typography, as well as Traditional and Digital Illustration. I offer expert pre-press and press run supervision, overseeing vendors to ensure high quality printed materials. In addition, I have extensive experience with exhibit trade show and event planning, fundraising and media relations. Mac and PC skills utilzed include Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, video editing in Premier Pro.

Fine art skills include painting and 3D work in a variety of media, with special expertise and interest in illustration, portraiture and figure drawing.

    After School Enrichment Teacher (2015-2017)

Part Time After School Enrichment Teacher in the Clinton Twp. NJ School district. Responsible for creative lesson planning, drawing, painting, 3D art, computer skills, research, homework assistance and other after school supervision. This position has also given me ongoing training in child psychology and development, safety and CPR certifications. I shared the daily classroom management duties with other teachers and supervisors along with interaction with school staff, parents and children. Elementary and middle school age groups, average class size 40.

¦  Center Line Farm Riding School, Califon, NJ
    Art & Horsemanship Counselor/Art Teacher (2014)
I taught weekly drawing classes focusing on equestrian and natural landscape subjects. The children created imaginative and colorful drawings of life with favorite horses and animals in the barn and outside all around this beautiful farm and riding school. Students worked mostly from life and also learned photography and sketching “en plein air”. Groups of children ages 4 to 14, average group size, 18 students. We enjoyed learning horse-manship and English riding skills as well during summer Pony Camp.

    I taught this 4-credit course required for students majoring in Media Arts and Design.

Created unique direct mail pieces, invitations and promotional materials for conferences and trade shows. Participated in marketing meetings and collaborated with event planners, copywriters, R&D, and other departments. Direction of artists, photographers and vendors to oversee quality and meet deadlines successfully.

1992 – 1996:  Senior Designer, Vis-Com Inc., Edison, NJ

Art direction, graphic design and art production duties reporting to the Creative Director. This agency’s clients included:
