Choppy Oshiro
Graphic Designer/Illustrator
My passion for the arts and community kept me in the game as a freelancer. I LOVE the challenge of creating visual solutions for clients’ needs! And, I’ve been quite successful at it.
Currently, I design for the California Nurses Association and National Nurses United. It is immensely satisfying to use my skills in the social justice arena.
I also participate in the arts as a visual artist. My medium of choice is paper; I practice the art of paper-cutting inspired by katagami, a traditional Japanese stencil art designed for fabric printing.
