Established parent corporation of Candace Cage Design, creating stationery design, calligraphy, hand lettering, and illustration for various individuals. 

University of Maryland, Baltimore County

Conceptualizes and designs printed materials for various internal and external clients on campus, within the Creative Services Department in the Office of Institutional Advancement. Work includes posters, brochures, kiosk signs, banners, catalogs, website updates, HTML emails, logo design, invitations, and magazine features for the university’s award-winning alumni magazine. Also, simultaneously took on duties of the Production Manager for a period, which included specifying job type, dimensions, and paper selection to print vendors to obtain bids for both offset and digital printing, as well as followed production of finished pieces from proof stages, through mailing, to final delivery. Worked closely with billing contacts to ensure postage funds were available for mailings, and also maintained department archive of projects. 

Performance School of the Arts

Conceptualized and designed various printed materials, including newspaper advertisements, large format posters and brochures to effectively promote enrollment, camp programs, the sale of merchandise and further brand recognition. Recent work included logo re-design and large format outdoor signage.

Proposed and designed various projects ranging from print advertisements, to large format signage, to logo designs. Attended press checks, worked with print vendors to obtain bids, and received and approved proofs. Clients have included universities (Loyola University in Maryland, Johns Hopkins University), businesses (UPS, Bluecross Blueshield, Weight Watchers), and individuals. Now a subsidiary of From Pixels, To Quill.

Worked in the Art and Marketing departments. Conceptualized and designed billboards for clients, as well as conducted marketing research. Original designs were selected by the clients and were posted in Essex, MD.

The Cagli Project, Atrium Instituto di Lingua Italiana 
May–July 2004
Participated in a professional summer semester in Media in Cagli, Italy. Worked in groups, but independently produced work in the areas of web design, journalism, photography, and video. Conducted interviews with a translator and studied the Italian language.
