My varied background gives me the advantage of knowing a lot of industries and therefore, a versatility to not only create in different styles and media, but for a multitude of disciplines; science, art, children, education, to publishing and travel and community volunteer positions.

With my photography and digital fine art, I use my own photos from my world travels to create fantasy portraits and tableaux.

My cut paper and collage illustrations for commercial and children's books, combining this traditional medium with current technology. My background as an educator gives me knowledge of literacy and successful books that tell a story with their images and engage today's visual audience. I am working on developing my characters into licensed art for commercial use.
