Midas owns the SpeeDee Oil Change business, with 161 auto service centers in the United States and Mexico. Purchased by TBC May 2012.

March, 2000 - July 2012

-Managed branding of all Midas stores throughout North America during a redesign and re-image, directing outside agencies and overseeing the installation of POP at all sites.

-Provided on-demand creative support for 700 franchisees, working with the field marketing team to help meet the local advertising and graphic design needs of a 1,400-store system. 2011 volume of 2,200 creative jobs processed. 

-Aligned all of these activities (radio, web, print, CRM) behind successful “Acquire, Convert and Retain” strategy that drove increased traffic, sales and profits.

-Directed 5 photo shoots to enhance the marketing message for in-store national POP, individual and market franchisee newspaper ads, brochures and an Internet ad-builder. 

-Supervised 2 designer / production staff artists and outside free-lancers, which included but not limited to: initial concepts and graphic designs, photography, illustration projects, print production directions, Midas legal terms, proofing and final execution of all projects.

-Recruited by Midas to help develop an in-house creative services department to service the graphic communication needs of the corporate office, regional field staff and 700 franchise owners across North America. 

-Led Offer Standards Committee consisting of: legal, operations, business support and marketing participants tasked with keeping Midas messages clear, concise and compliant. Created a repository of 83 coupons in a library to use modularly within templates so that they are accessible for print, web and CRM.

A packaging and branding studio, established in 1971, with such clients as Quaker, Borden’s and Everfresh, now PKG Brand Design, A division of Launch.

-Created an easy-to-update journey binder for Quaker Oats Fruit & Oat Cereal Bars that included violators and discontinued items.

-Participated in re-design of Perdue Chicken, which included more than 700 different SKU’s.

The second-largest supermarket operator in the metropolitan Chicago area, since 1918. Dominick’s has about 75 stores. Dominick’s was acquired by supermarket giant Safeway in 1999.
