Talent Profile
Timothy Shamey
Illustrator and Designer
After 25 years in NYC, I am now on the West Coast. As an illustrator, I am perhaps best known for my work with MAD Magazine, but have a variety of styles ranging from highly realistic to very stylized and cartoony. I frequently illustrate/design for packaging, from the earliest stages (concept) through to finished art. As a designer, I have worked primarily in the sports industry, designing logos, theme art, mascots and the like for both professional and collegiate clients.

I am proficient both in traditional hand and digital media (Illustrator/Photoshop). Please browse my portfolio and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. (Note: I do not provide free samples)
Artist with over 25 years experience creating original work for a wide variety of clients including the NFL, ESPN, NIKE, MAD Magazine, Kraft Foods, Diageo and Mondelez International. Comfortable in both hand and digital media across a wide variety of styles. Strong layout and conceptual skills and able to work as both part of a team and on my own and carry out long projects as well as bring rush jobs in on time. Confident, capable and highly motivated, I take ownership of and great pride in my work. I have built strong relationships with my clients often transcending decades and the companies they originally worked for.
