PRINT PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

Manage large projects, coordinate with Designers, production and other departments to smoothly move jobs through to finish and delivery. Detail oriented, good at follow-up and follow through. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal), flexible, good working with people and easy to work with. Communicate, collaborate and coordinate as part of a team to develop and implement projects, ensure quality. Proactive problem-solver, good at trouble shooting, keeping jobs on track, on budget and deadlines met. Multitasking, juggling priorities and heavy workloads.
Work with clients, vendors and offices in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and Singapore on large projects to produce overseas editions of catalogs, advertising campaigns and materials. Manage production timetables and workflow for all countries and departments. Coordinate shipments of artwork, production files and printing proofs worldwide. Communicate and coordinate information, status reports, job needs, deadlines, job requirements and specifications. Traffic and route jobs for approval, secure missing images, artwork, copy or information needed and approvals from all offices and vendors.
PHOTO EDITOR
Negotiate rates and usage, contracts, photo research and select images for large projects and entire creative department. Find new vendors and image resources (including tourism bureaus around the world) for stock photos and original photography. Purchase photography for worldwide use in seven countries and seven editions.
