Position Overview
The Production/Traffic Manager manages and organizes assigned projects and deliverables of the marketing team. The position is responsible for understanding the needs of each project, prioritizing delivery dates, and works with the team to successfully complete each project on time and to the satisfaction of the client. This is a part-time position with possibility to work remotely; future possibility of full-time employment.

Job duties
•	Create detailed schedules and set deadlines for various stages of a project – meet with creative lead and project managers to review the timelines  
•	Distribute assignments to creative teams and other departments, taking into consideration their availability and priorities
•	Communicate confidently with internal clients to set expectations and gather information when needed
•	Interface with outside creative sources, such as freelance proofreaders and designers, to ensure deadlines are met.
•	Sit in kick off meetings to learn more about project details and to understand the potential timelines and team availability issues
•	Monitor projects and workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly
•	Secure vendors and printers as needed, procuring quotes and interfacing with vendor
•	Maintain job files, including uploading and maintaining file archives
•	Organize and schedule production meetings as needed
•	Provide some creative department admin duties on an as-needed basis

Necessary experience and skills
•	Demonstrated experience in implementing marketing/creative department traffic processes
•	Ability to multitask, organize, collaborate and juggle a wide variety of project requests with competing deadlines and limited resources 
•	Strong decision-making and prioritization skills to ensure projects run smoothly, 
•	Ensure that deadlines are being met. Ability to proactively schedule, monitor and adjust deadlines and resources as needed
•	Strong collaboration and people management skills to effectively understand and communicate requests and assignments to the creative department 
•	Superb time-management, eye for detail and problem-solving skills. 
•	Proficiency with Asana (or other project management software) and MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
•	Ability to manage outside vendors and resources when needed to get the job done, including P.O.’s, budgets, ensuring invoices are submitted and vendors are paid
•	Knowledge of web production processes
•	Some knowledge of print production processes and latest web/industry standards
•	A seasoned, self-starter professional who is confident, adaptable, can hit the ground running with a fun and positive attitude
