Post Production Manager

Shutterfly Inc. is looking for an experienced, detail oriented and highly organized individual to join the Photography Services team. The role is responsible, and accountable, for the successful coordination and execution of post photo shoot digital assets. You possess the ability to think and act quickly and maintain supreme control of multiple projects during the fast-paced photo production process.  You will have prior experience of high-volume post production for both web and print.

 

The Shutterfly Photo Services team is part of the Creative “in-house agency” that works across channels (site, email, catalog, social media, display…) to deliver campaigns that win us new customers and drive clicks and sales. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

    Establish and maintain high quality standards for all digital assets going through post production.
    Ensure seamless post production process of digital assets for print & web.
    Oversee external post production vendors to ensure quality control and SLA compliance.
    Own all post production operations with direct responsibility for tracking, measuring and reporting success.
    Innovate, develop and implement processes and procedures to maximize operational efficiencies.
    Partner with photography & production teams to grow capacity by incorporating new and innovative methods.
    Partner with cross functional internal/external teams to develop workflow automations.
    Communicate detailed post production schedules in a timely manner to participants and business partners.
    Standardize processes to optimize productivity and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
    Consult with internal clients in various departments to ensure clear direction and expectation for deliverables.
    Demonstrate knowledge of currency with photo/video technology, equipment, industry trends, and competitive marketplace.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

    5+ years in a high-volume post production environment.
    Proven track record establishing quality standards and improving overall image quality and consistency
    Excellent communication and thought leadership skills
    Ability to organize time and meet deadlines, manage workflow and prioritize effectively.
    Ability to think strategically across a wide range of cross functional initiatives.
    Exceptionally detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
    Strong computer skills, and familiarity and comfort with database applications.
    Proficiency with Adobe and DAM applications.
    Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
    4 years college preferred or equivalent experience.
