Creative Group Head

Brunet-García is one of the fastest-growing agencies in the world. We seek a Jacksonville-based full-time Creative Group Head to join our award-winning creative team. The Creative Group Head is responsible for successfully delivering innovative and thoughtful creative services in a tactical and strategic manner. He or she is able to think conceptually and possesses an aptitude for visual design that serves to elevate the quality of the work that flows through the agency, regardless of medium.

Creates marketing and promotional materials, including print, radio, and television advertising campaigns, collateral materials, websites, and publications

Works with account team to develop brand strategy, creative ideas, and concepts that fulfill the marketing needs of the client

Oversees all creative to ensure all creative work meets strategy

Keeps the Creative Director up to date on all creative projects and consults with him on strategy and direction

Helps establish, maintain, and elevate the integrity of all materials produced by the agency

Identifies the most important benefits and messages for key audiences of the brand

Assures that the firm’s branded content work is relevant, engaging, and effective

Drives executional excellence on every piece of work

Mentors the creative team and helps facilitate sharing and collaboration

Articulates conceptual and design decisions

Works as liaison between the account management and creative team to ensure all internal and client deadlines are being met

Reviews and approves final art developed by junior staff, interns, and freelancers

Informs the creative director on department-related business, including technical requirements and issues (hardware and software needs, upgrades, training, etc.)

Encourages professional development of departmental staff

Recommends freelancers and oversees their contributions

Represents the agency at creative/professional/civic functions and events

A degree in design, visual arts, or related field is preferred

8+ years’ professional design experience

Ability to apply strategic thinking to all business challenges and opportunities

Demonstrate creative conceptualization skills and proven design excellence

Ability to articulate the creative rationale that drives conceptual execution and tactics

Excellent project and organizational management skills

Design experience for print, TV, radio, web, interactive, mobile, apps, and marketing channels

Proficiency in macOS, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite required

Experience in WordPress, Adobe XD, AfterEffects, and Animate is a plus

Ability to create interactive presentations in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides

Ability to stand or sit in a stationary position for prolonged periods (approximately 75% of the time)

Superior written and verbal communication skills
