Digital Designer
The digital designer will help to promote Mediacurrent’s continued growth and success through creating highly compelling visual representations of our brand and position that represents our trusted and pioneering team. To be successful in the role, you’ll need a strong foundation graphic design fundamentals, motion graphic and traditional composition skills. The designer must be able to translate a creative brief into illustration, rich visual compositions, slides and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Concepts a range of creative design solutions for both print and digital including ad campaigns, emails, web assets, motion graphics, photography, social media assets

Design trade show booth graphics and supporting marketing materials for print and digital targeted to buyer personas

Work with the sales and marketing teams in creating sales presentation decks, including thematic storytelling, emotional and infographic design

Experience in website asset production from hero design to web animations 

Photoshop expertise a requirement

Must be able to create layered images, knockouts and illustrations and compress them for the web

Help us to establish and enforce brand guidelines for Mediacurrent and its business units through a brand style guide

Provides document and presentation templates for all internal and external communications and customer touch points

Assesses scope of projects to ensure they are clear and agreed upon while determining how to accomplish tasks within given timing and budget

Works with team through revisions, reviews quality product and delivers final work on deadline

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

Bachelor's Degree, Creative Portfolio School Certificate Equivalent or a combination of education and experience may be considered

Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects and Animate

Familiarity with UX design prototyping tools, like Sketch and Invision

Demonstrated experience in designing demand generating creative, including digital banner ads, email, direct mail, infographics, forms/landing pages

Must have experience designing rich media and basic animation

Print experience: Ability to design tri-folds, one sheeters and eBooks. Knowledge of swiss grid system, composition and layout principles, track record of understanding and delivery of user experience creative that aligns with best practices

Advanced typography skills, conceptual abilities and understanding of user centric design

Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams

Proficient in the execution of creative interactive marketing communication that meet company objectives

Demonstrates a solid understanding of current creative media, mediums and trends

Photo retouching and image outlining experience required

Excellent time management, problem solving, and teamwork skills
