Graphic Designer

JOB SUMMARY

The graphic designer is responsible for supporting creative for brand and advertising initiatives. From building brand identities to ad campaigns, you’ll partner with art directors and copywriters to ensure ideas and execution are organized, styled and crafted with passion. Your designs are more than pretty pictures, they are powered by a desire to deliver a great experience. Behind the design, your hunger for knowledge, research and resourcefulness result in pixel perfect layouts, beautiful type combinations and expressive color combos. When it’s time to produce, you are confident in building presentations, partnering with printers and finalizing designs to media specs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS 

The graphic designer contributes to the constant aesthetic evolution and creative excellence throughout the lifecycle of projects. You will help our teams build brand identities, brand systems, websites, graphics for videos and ad campaigns that include print, digital, OOH, packaging and experiential layouts. From creative briefs through detailed execution you will ensure the work is on brand, built to spec and exceeds expectations. 

From concept to final execution you will be responsible for working with production partners to build and source techniques that fit the specifications (not limited to inks, papers, digital media, etc.). 

A passion for history of design, culture and industry trends is a must. Expert knowledge of design software and eager to expand skills through continued education will be rewarded.

The graphic designer maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional organizations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school degree or equivalent.
College degree in fine arts or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a design firm, ad agency preferred. 
Expert knowledge in Adobe creative suite specifically AI, ID, PS. After Effects, Animate and Sketch a plus.
