Marketing Automation Manager

An integral member of our Enterprise Marketing team, you’ll work in close collaboration with departmental stakeholders, to plan, develop, and execute a wide range of email marketing programs, including membership, lead generation, communications, marketing campaigns, internal communications and newsletters, with a focus on segmentation, data quality and enrichment, and reporting and analysis.
The role requires deep knowledge of customer (member) acquisition, marketing automation, and list segmentation, and ability to identify a high volume of quality contacts that align with our membership growth and event attendance goals. 
Ideal candidates bring experience in Membership Marketing, preferably from Association industry, as well as e-commerce. Must be digitally-savvy with strong marketing sensibilities, and comprehensive understanding of the nuances of digital audiences and deliverables. Role requires proven proficiency in working with Marketo.
Serve as email campaign manager and email communication expert for The National Restaurant Association and in accordance with Enterprise Editorial Calendar.
Manage or support email campaigns end-to-end, including planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting and optimization
Manage newsletter strategy under the direction of the Enterprise Marketing Director, in partnership with constituents across the enterprise.
Works to establish a governance of customer information and list management in partnership with the Data and Membership teams.
Collaborate with our creative services, member engagement and success teams, sponsorship, sales, consultants, and other members of the Enterprise Marketing team and Company to advise, design and deploy email campaign content that is compelling, accurate, and audience appropriate.
Build and support campaigns to drive qualified leads, content engagement and sponsored marketing content programs in Marketo/Salesforce.
Write email content for lead generation, drip campaigns, and customer communications.
Craft, analyze, and communicate digital marketing metrics, KPIs, intelligence and optimization strategies
Manager of list strategy, development and segmentation, list aggregation, email campaign performance analysis, and forecasting and reporting as it relates to business planning.
Develop strategies and content to grow our newsletter and subscriber base.
Identify, develop and implement marketing automation platform/CRM together with key stakeholders and business units.
Think creatively, stay up-to-date on relevant trends in digital marketing, and bring fresh, new ideas to marketing programs.
Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures.
