The Role:
Voy Media is looking for a hybrid of a creative innovator and scroll-stopping copywriter with experience in creative testing across social platforms like: FB/IG, Snapchat, & tiktok. 

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience working in advertising, journalism, or brand marketing
A fundamental understanding of direct-response marketing is important to us. We are a paid social agency at our core, your job is to create creatives & copy that converts. 
Must possess a strong knowledge of the advertising and social media space. Prior experience working in performance / direct response advertising or with D2C clients is a plus.
Copywriting comes second to nature to you. You’re a creative thinker that happens to know how to use words to sell online.
Experience sourcing and selecting talent, including models, hair & makeup artists, freelance DPs, videographers, etc.
You’re obsessed with the creative process and able to execute with proven frameworks
Expert with Instagram/Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok. (Paid and Organic)
Experience looking at high-level data points to get actionable insights
Storytelling comes naturally to you. Whether you’re using quirky analogies to get a point across or presenting a 12-page deck, you’re able to hone-in on problems and communicate ideas clearly to a client. 
Understanding of social trends, designs, memes and social media feedback and how those can inform more successful product design and execution.
Strong in typography, layout and use of color. In fact, you get annoyed when a serif font is paired with script font. Or, when a design is clearly not using a grid. 
Comfortable with all major design applications (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma a plus) 
Video editorial and motion graphics is a plus, but not required
Creative thinking and innovation are the key to success
Amazing communication skills and attention to detail

 

Responsibilities:

 

Diagnose & prescribe the right creative strategy: whether it’s direct response messaging, creative direction, landing page execution, and other available marketing solutions. 
Write short-form and in-creative ad-copy along with headlines and subheadlines across your accounts.
Collaborate effectively as a creative partner with internal cross-functional business partners: Strategists, Media Buyers, Operations, and outside agencies/partners.
Use existing creative templates in order to speed up the creative process while meeting quality standards. 
Contribute to client relations and pitches by establishing a close relationship from the get-go. You’re here to help them grow their business with compassion & speed. 
Leverage internal trend research, overall product development, and retail strategies to establish a unique design direction for DTC/DR assets.
Conceptualize actionable campaigns that have a vision and harness original graphics, copy, content, landing pages, and other marketing materials.
