Produces digital photography and videography in support of College-wide marketing, recruitment, fundraising, and stewardship efforts. Individual reports to the Creative Director. Essential Job Functions: • Develops and produces visual concepts for promotional materials, College publications, and campus news, maintaining a consistent identity; • Schedules and coordinates photography/videography across campus, including coverage of signature College events and coordination of freelance hires; • Develops annual schedule for assigned shoots; • Oversees and manages standards for the College’s digital archive; • Maintains photography/videography gear inventory; • Recruits and oversees team of student photographers and student visual archivist; • Contributes to the College’s social media visual strategies, including management of Instagram, Flickr, Vimeo, and YouTube channels; • Appreciation of and commitment to further an inclusive culture for those of diverse backgrounds such as ability, age, class, ethnicity, faith, gender, neurodiversity, race and sexual orientation. Marginal Job Functions: Contributes to the overall success of the department by performing all other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: College degree preferred. High School diploma required, supplemented by course work, specialized training in photography, and/or three years relevant experience. Knowledge and Skills: Expertise with photography and video equipment and processes. Creativity and initiative to participate in discussions that contribute to College marketing goals. Physical Requirements: Lifts and carries cameras, equipment (up to 50 lbs.), and lighting to locations for photographs. Must possess normal vision to the level required to take quality photographs. Mobility on campus necessary.
