Live Event Producer
Alliance Defending Freedom
Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly talented Live Event Producer to join us in our Lansdowne, VA office or our Washington, D.C. office. As the Live Event Producer, you are a vital part of the Audio/Visual Team. In this role, you will report to Director of Audio/Visual and are responsible for producing all live event productions in and around the Lansdowne VA office, the DC office, as well as some international events.  Working from the Lansdowne office, you will be responsible for producing over 130+ live event productions each year - consisting of seminars, conferences, webinars, training events, media hits, fundraisers, etc.  We are looking for a Christ Centered individual with excellent project management skills, communication skills, has extensive live event AV experience, and has a passion to serve.

In this position, you will:

Produce each event from concept to delivery (i.e. executing on the stakeholder’s vision, and deliver the final product, whether it be the live event itself, or a recording of the event).
Work with internal teams and outside presenters on program flow and agendas.  Ensure the program has all the elements to run smoothly, will look aesthetically pleasing, and will make sense to the audience.
Collect all media and program elements (PPTs, Videos, etc.), and test them to ensure they play correctly on our system.
Direct and manage some internal and external personnel (ADF Team Members, contractors, vendors, etc.).
Direct upwards of 3-10 people per event.
Manage and schedule event logistics, as it pertains to AV.
Mobilize necessary resources (AV contractors, hotel staff, trucking companies, etc.)
Procure vendor quotes and manage a strict production budget
Acting as liaison between stakeholder and AV crew.
Work closely with internal ADF departments, vendors, and contractors - to understand and communicate expectations.
Occasionally produce custom set designs, and original video content.
Provide Team Leader with instant notifications, debriefs, and potential critical situations.
Attend and represent the AV Team during all Pre-Production and Debrief meetings.
Highly technical.  When needed - required to be hands-on in the technical aspects of production (i.e. running a sound board, video switcher, cameras, lighting, streaming protocols, video editing, graphic design, etc.)
Manage all AV equipment and software.  Ensuring resources are maintained, organized, and in good condition.
Maintain a detailed inventory list.
A passion for continued education and the ability to be trained.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Travel required (20-30%)

Education and/or experience:

Bachelor of Arts degree (or AA Degree) in Video Production, AV Production, Communication, Marketing, similar academic field, or equivalent years of experience.
5+ years of experience in live event AV production, and project / team management.
5+ years of experience in all technical aspects of AV live event production such as: stage
