Job Opportunity: Commercial Key Accounts - Construction Account Executive – The Cincinnati Insurance Companies

Pay range: $100,000 - $176,000; depending on knowledge, skills, expertise, and territory.
Current open territories are:
Montana/Idaho
Washington/Oregon
Nebraska/Kansas/North Dakota/South Dakota and Wyoming
North Carolina/South Carolina and Georgia
Georgia/Florida
Be ready to:
able to collaborate with construction industry and talk about issues and their potential impact on the insurance industry
pro-actively engage in accounts in the assigned territory and work with management to strategically grow within the territory
through the field marketing reps, strategically engage with partner agents that drive revenue with Key Account size business by promoting our company’s products and services
evaluate and document contractor exposures and controls, analyze actuarial loss models using a layered and excess loss approach
price business to achieve positive returns within the framework of the organization’s risk appetite
effectively negotiate renewals to achieve business unit goals, including rate/retention dynamics and policy terms and conditions
develop and execute stewardship service plans addressing claims, loss control and RMIS service needs
understand the agency planning process and impact of contingency/supplemental commission arrangements
collaborate with and mentor less experienced underwriters
Be equipped with:
five years of underwriting experience, preferably with a focus on the construction sector
excellent oral and written communication skills
strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
working knowledge of large account marketing and underwriting, including awareness of loss sensitive programs, familiarity with collateral concepts, wrap-ups and other contractor specific coverage is desired
analytical and critical-thinking skills
understanding of portfolio management and ability to balance growth and profit dynamics to achieve company targets
self-starter with creative thinking and an ability to create opportunity
willingness to travel
You've earned:
college degree preferred
CPCU/other designations preferred
