Direct Marketing – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network is seeking an experienced Art Director to join its fast-paced Direct Marketing team.  This individual will conceptualize and execute graphics for direct response along with other various development projects and related marketing activities, including managing freelance artists as needed and approving artwork.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

•Working knowledge of graphic design principles and procedures
•Working knowledge of graphic art and design in the direct response field
•Strong working knowledge of current computer-based software applications used in the graphic design industry (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
•Familiarity with all graphic and production methods, printing processes, and tools
•Keep updated with graphic design trends, techniques and software
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
•Ability to work independently and as an effective part of a creative team in a high-energy environment 
•Basic working knowledge of project management software programs such as Asana
•Strong creative and innovative skills
•Ability to take initiative and work independently
•Effective oral and written communication skills
