Senior Designer (24 hrs./wk. | On-site in DC | 1/25 - 6/25)

An advocacy organization with a focus on foreign affairs and national headquarters offices in Washington, DC is looking to engage a Senior Graphic Designer in a part-time, on-site role for six-months, starting early in January.
We're interested in talking with experienced, multidisciplinary designers who can work 24 hours/week on-site at the employer's offices, which are in a private building in NW, DC -- just a few blocks from Union Station. Work days will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with typical office hours.
This person will design or have a hand in designing a wide variety of products for the organization's Communications Department. Projects will fit into one of the categories indicated below, which are listed in ranked order from most to least in-demand. Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience in many of these categories.
• Marketing collateral • Advertising for print/PDF consumption • Social media graphics • Internal communications collateral • Information graphics • Motion graphics • Interactive interface design • UX design
LOCATION:
This long-term, part-time position requires an on-site presence in Washington, DC on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week. The employer's offices are in a building that it owns, which is located a short walk from three Metrorail stations in downtown, Washington, DC.
