I've written everything from annual reports to hotel key cards for a wide variety of consumer and trade accounts, including pharma, retail, fast food, clothing, motorcycles, apparel, museums, military, tourism, hotels and beer. A lot of it doesn't suck.
Freelance writer (9/2004-present)

Currently a freelancer hired on a project or extended contract basis. Services I provide include concept development and writing for advertising campaigns, collateral materials, promotions, web content, annual reports, trade show materials and direct mail. Can work on-site for extended periods and travel when necessary.

Creative Director, GCG (3/2000-9/2004) 

Led an agency department of 10 writers, art directors and production artists. Although it was founded in the early 70s, during my time at GCG the agency came out of nowhere to dominate the local market both creatively and in terms of growth. GCG specializes in business-to-business, with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals and energy. However, we also worked for a number of consumer accounts.  I had responsibility for staffing, approved new work and presented it to clients. I also wrote a high percentage of the work.

Hired as copywriter, promoted to senior copywriter and ACD/department manager with responsibilities for staffing, creative product, presentation to clients, strategy development in addition to hands-on concepting and writing.
