Hello, 

My name is Damini Ghanshyani. I am a Graphic Designer and Division 1 golfer at California Baptist University with a strong interest in the fashion and sports industries. I am passionate about both areas and am building my career in an environment that brings together creativity, culture, and sport.

My interest in design comes from the way visuals can communicate ideas, tell stories, and shape how people experience a brand. I enjoy exploring branding, campaigns, packaging, advertising, and other forms of visual communication. My design approach is colorful, distinctive, and energetic, allowing me to create work that feels expressive while still being connected to the brand, audience, and purpose behind it.

Being a Division 1 athlete has also shaped the way I approach my work. Golf has taught me discipline, consistency, time management, teamwork, and how to stay focused under pressure. I bring these qualities into my design process and enjoy working through challenges, receiving feedback, and continuing to improve. Outside of the classroom, I have had the opportunity to experience different brands and professional environments through representing Mercedes-Benz Mexico at The Open, attending Wimbledon, and being invited to visit the Invicta Factory and Expo West. These experiences have given me a closer look at the worlds of sports, fashion, business, and branding and have strengthened my interest in the creative side of these industries.

I am always looking for opportunities to learn, experiment, and grow as a designer while contributing to creative teams and projects that I genuinely connect with. I want my work to be memorable, expressive, and purposeful, creating visual experiences that connect with people and bring a brand’s identity to life.
